FREE CDS AVAILABLE AT THE NEXT LILYGUN SHOW
Lilygun will be giving away 50 FREE cds of the first single from our new album at the next show. This cd will NOT be available at any other time except at this one gig only. It's our way of saying a big thanks to everyone who has supported us over the turbulent years.
We're also selling discount tickets from our website so you'll get a great night of music with us, The Mariana Hollow and Nessus Red, PLUS a free cd AND free entry to the after show party at Stripped with Cold In Berlin performing live at 11.15pm followed by DJs Frankie D, Jonthegoth and Jason H spinning their magic till 3am for only £7.50! Dear all,
What a crazy few weeks its been in the U.K this month!!!
In the middle of all the violent madness, Lilygun have been super busy. We're in the middle of mixing our album, sorting out the artwork, release etc and inbetween all of that, we're launching our new website today! It's all happening...
Gigs: We began with a bang at Gotham 'Lite' and this month we're heading to Brighton for the first time (check the Gigs Page at www.lilygun.com for all the details). We weren't planning on playing another London show before Gotham Festival in December but you wanted it, you got it:

Recording Update
Just wanted to keep you all posted on our progress recording our new album. 7 out of the 8 songs are now finished and we'll be back in the studio on 5th July to record the last song. A new song!
I had a fantastic recording session with Mr Bob Loveday (The Penguin Cafe Orchestra/Bob Geldof).
It was amazing to work with him on Moonlight and My Ways.
When I wrote My Ways it originally featured a string part that I programmed using MIDI but working with Bob was a whole new ball game and the results are truly beautiful.
Can't wait to get back in the studio to record the last song!

Modern Day Rockstars Are...
A bunch of self-loving, arrogant little impersonators with not a single original bone in their bodies. Posers and ponces, fakers and liars all out for themselves. It takes balls to bare your soul. These arseholes around today have no style or charm and have forgotten what Rock'n'Roll is all about.
Too busy watching themselves on Youtube, taking pictures of themselves and posting them with self-degrading Tweets. Twitter is for twats. No actual Rock band would do that bollocks! Speaking as a Rock fan myself, no I don't give a fuck what you put on your sandwich or where you were last night. Where's the air of mystery?
But it's not all bad... occasionally I stumble across a band that plays from the heart and means what they say and then I meet them and I discover that not only are they a great band but decent human beings too, the world makes sense again and I am reminded that not all musicians are total pricks!

Easter Bunny!
Dearest Rocksters...
I spent my whole sunny Easter weekend in a dark, hot vocal booth singing my little black heart out and laying down vocals for our album.
The biggest drama so far is... there isn't one!
Everything has been coming together beautifully and I've loved every minute of engineering as well as recording.
Rehearsals with the awesome new Lilygun line-up have begun for Gotham Festival.
Yes, for once Lilygun IS going to be prepared!!!

Welcome To Lilygun's New Blog
Greetings Earthlings!
We've joined the blogger's world! Reporting our latest trials and tribulations (of which there are many) may be more fun now! For those of you who are first discovering Lilygun here, please visit our website here: www.lilygun.com to get the lowdown on the band.
Lilygun's world is changing, It's the start of a new beginning for us. Recording of the 'Big 8' has already begun and we're currently mid-flow and knee deep in the making of our debut album. So far so good...
